AgHub, PJTAU in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, and the Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad, Government of Telangana, invites applications for Agri Sandbox’25 — a unique soft-landing platform for next-gen agri technologies.
The focus areas include climate risk & crop intelligence (AI/Remote sensing), energy-efficient cold chains, waste-to-value & bio-based tech (Biogas/Biochar/Compost), agri automation & robotics, farm mechanization & smart irrigation, digital watershed & water accounting solutions, food safety, grading & quality assessment, and seed quality assurance tech.
Agri Sandbox’25 is designed to provide startups with an opportunity to test, validate, and scale their breakthrough technologies in real farm environments. The program offers real-farm validation, institutional mentorship, and access to a strong agricultural ecosystem, ensuring that startups can refine their solutions in collaboration with farmers, scientists, and industry stakeholders. Startups selected under this initiative can receive pilot grant support of up to ₹20 lakhs, enabling them to further develop and demonstrate the impact of their innovations.
This initiative seeks to co-develop resilient, tech-enabled, and farmer-centric solutions that can transform Indian agriculture by fostering collaboration between innovators and agricultural institutions.
