Deadline Date: April 01, 2026
Applications are now open for the 2026 Seeds of Change Supplier Development Partnership, inviting aspiring social entrepreneurs to become suppliers to Food Lover’s Market in South Africa.
The programme focuses on fostering meaningful partnerships with small local businesses that demonstrate strong social and environmental impact, support food security, promote environmental sustainability, contribute to job creation, provide sustainable packaging solutions, engage in food surplus management, empower smallholder farmers, deliver commercial services, and offer produce and products suited to in-store departments such as bakery, confectionery, groceries, and liquor while enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Now in its sixth year, the initiative continues to build on its founding vision of supporting social enterprises that are purpose-driven and community-focused. What began as a bold commitment to uplift small businesses has grown into a dynamic campaign that strengthens enterprises dedicated to sustainability and positive social change.
The programme is designed to go beyond traditional supplier relationships by investing in businesses that nourish and enrich lives within their communities. Through mentorship, tools, and access to market opportunities, selected enterprises are supported in scaling their operations and expanding their impact.
Eligible businesses must have been operational for at least 12 months, demonstrate financial stability, and present a business plan that reflects successful implementation. Applicants must also show that their products or services align well with the retailer’s offering and contribute meaningfully to community development.
This opportunity is aimed at enterprises ready to grow their footprint while maintaining a strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility, positioning them as changemakers within their communities.
