Deadline: 31-January-2026
The Retail Digitization Distribution Innovation Challenge invites startups to build technology-driven solutions for retail digitization, smart supply chains, digital payments, and merchant credit.
The focus areas of the challenge include retail digitization point-of-sale solutions, smart supply chain and inventory logistics management, digital payments and merchant credit fintech solutions, e-commerce enablement and last-mile distribution, and data analytics and AI automation for retail.
The challenge aims to empower kirana and small retailers, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen India’s retail and distribution ecosystem. Incentives include fiscal support through grants or cash awards of up to ₹5 Lakh for selected participants.
Eligible applicants are Indian startups, MSMEs, and innovators working in retail technology, supply chain, digital payments, merchant credit, or distribution solutions. Applicants must be incorporated or registered in India, with DPIIT or Startup India recognition preferred but not mandatory at the time of application. Startups at any stage—including idea, prototype, MVP, pilot, or early commercialization—can apply. Solutions should demonstrate innovation, scalability, and relevance to retail and distribution challenges. Individual innovators may apply, and if selected for incentives, they may be required to register an entity.
