- Depending on your age, location, and the sectors in which you and your social venture operate, you will be assigned to one of their programmes for funding and up to a year of support. Their programmes are designed to provide specialised support that align with the needs of you and your social venture.

Support

- Support manager
- This person will guide you through your support, offering one to one coaching throughout your award period. They have dedicated teams and specialist support available to help you to identify & work towards your support goals to help you & your venture flourish.
- Upskill with your peers
- You’ll have access to a regular and varied calendar of workshops from expert facilitators and they’ll help you to develop and deepen your knowledge and understanding by connecting you to fellow Award Winners.
- Expert advice and guidance
- They have a large network of supportive business professionals, corporate partners and alumni who will generously offer you the expert advice and mentoring you need to develop as a social entrepreneur.
- Legal adviser consultancy
- Their legal partners can offer professional consultation on a variety of topics; from determining the best legal structure for you, to discussing your intellectual property and assisting with leases and contracts.
- Support manager
- Funding Futures Programme:
- Financial literacy resources
- You’ll receive support to help strengthen your financial literacy skills and help improve the financial resilience of your social venture.
- Peer-to-Peer Learning
- Regular opportunities to connect with fellow social entrepreneurs working to reduce financial inequalities to share the journey and learn from their experiences.

Eligibility Criteria
- Social entrepreneur:
- The founder and lead of the social venture.
- Are 16 years old or older.
- Has not previously received the same Award type for the same social venture.
- Living in the United Kingdom.
- Social venture:
- Has the potential to be financially sustainable with their support.
- Can demonstrate a clear need for your idea or social venture.
- Is clearly driven by its social purpose.
- Needs both their financial and non-financial support to make it happen.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Social entrepreneur:
- Looking for funding for a one-off or short-term project where there is limited potential for long-term impact.
- Looking for funding to continue existing activities that have been running for over four years.
- Requests for support which are predominately for the individual to undertake academic qualifications or overseas travel.
- Individuals who plan to employ others to undertake most of the work on their behalf.
- Social venture
- Social venture:
- Is predominantly focused on having an impact on people or places outside the UK.
- Has been incorporated for over four years at the time of application (Companies House or Charity Commission registration), including charities or organisations that have been incorporated for over four years which are setting up a social venture.
- Charities or organisations that are looking to set up a social venture as a subsidiary, unless the founder can demonstrate significant control of the social ventures finances and impact.
- Had a turnover of over £250,000 in its last financial year.
- Involves political, or religious campaigning.
- Involves activities outside of the law, against public policy or anything which encourages ethnic, religious, or commercial disharmony.
- Social ventures whose focus is predominantly on raising awareness of social issues.
