Deadline Date: November 26, 2025
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), under its Inclusive Access to Markets (IA2M) project, has announced a call for proposals to support Georgian social enterprises in starting, continuing, or resuming exports to EU and European countries.
The focus areas include supporting Georgian social enterprises in starting, continuing, or resuming exports to EU and European countries.
The call is open to Georgian social enterprises that produce goods or provide services within Georgia and aim to enhance their export potential. The initiative offers up to five grants, each worth GEL 50,000, with an expected contract duration of eight months.
Eligible applicants must be enterprises registered in Georgia (excluding individual entrepreneurs) for at least one year before applying. They must have at least 50% ownership by Georgian citizens or resident legal entities and demonstrate an average annual income between 50,000 GEL and 30 million GEL over the last three years.
Applicants must also publicly declare their social mission through verifiable statements on public platforms such as websites or social media. Entities owned directly or indirectly by the state or municipalities, as well as those under insolvency or with frozen assets, are not eligible. Applicants must ensure the accuracy and completeness of all submitted documents and confirm that no insolvency proceedings or debtor registrations are in effect.
While Georgian law does not define the legal status of social enterprises, organizations identifying themselves as such may apply if they provide strong evidence of their social mission, such as statutory provisions or public positioning as a social enterprise. Enterprises registered for less than three years must still demonstrate that their average income meets the eligibility threshold.
