The JFD, under the patronage of the President of the French Republic, invites applications for the Margaret Awards to recognise and support women entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and young women driving innovation through AI across Europe.
The focus areas of the opportunity are rewarding women entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and girls (Margaret Juniors) whose projects and innovation meet the major challenges of our society; empowering startups and initiatives led by women; supporting growth and international influence of women-led innovations; promoting innovative projects in artificial intelligence; and enhancing the representation of women in technology through structured support and visibility.
The Margaret Awards are open to female founders or co-founders of an innovative company, female employees leading innovation projects within companies, and young women aged 14 to 22 with innovative AI-based projects. Selected winners receive a one-year growth acceleration programme worth €1 million, developed in collaboration with JFD partners, to support project development, visibility, mentorship, financing and networking.
The 2026 “United by Tech” edition focuses specifically on AI innovation and will celebrate women who embody the future of European tech. The programme aims to boost their ability to scale, create impact and build international reach through training, coaching, exposure and high-level support.
