Deadline: February 09, 2026
The Liveability Challenge 2026 invites innovators worldwide to submit groundbreaking decarbonisation solutions that can significantly reduce carbon emissions across diverse industries.
The focus of this call is Decarbonisation, seeking disruptive deep-tech solutions that can deliver scalable and impactful ways to reduce carbon emissions across diverse industries, with examples including waste-to-resource, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
The Liveability Challenge (TLC), presented by Temasek Foundation and organised by Eco-Business, has become Asia’s largest sustainability solutions platform since its launch in 2018. With a proven track record of deploying close to S$14 million in funding to start-ups that have gone on to raise hundreds of millions more, TLC continues to nurture innovations with transformative potential.
In its ninth edition, TLC 2026 will showcase finalists at the Grand Finale in Singapore during Ecosperity Week, where the most promising solutions will compete for substantial support. The top two solutions from the Decarbonisation theme stand to receive S$1 million in grant funding, while two others could secure up to S$2 million in development funding from A*STAR.
Eligible projects must be at or above Technology Readiness Level 6, with proof of concept already achieved. While participation is open globally, projects should demonstrate relevance and applicability to Singapore or Southeast Asia.
