The focus areas and priorities include solving industrial challenges through AI, accelerating AI solutions via collaboration and growth, showcasing industrial-grade robustness and reliability, enabling accessibility for non AI-experts through explainability and transparency, ensuring scalability, data protection, and security, delivering tangible business impact, contributing to new business models, advancing resource efficiency and sustainability, addressing skills challenges, and providing customer references that demonstrate value.
The Industrial AI Awards aim to spotlight success in solving industrial challenges by recognizing startups that translate AI’s potential into measurable industrial value. An esteemed jury will shortlist six finalist startups that are breaking barriers in this transformation. Finalists will have the opportunity to pitch and exhibit at the AI with Purpose Summit, Europe’s premier leadership event for industrial AI. The AI with Purpose Summit is an exclusive, invite-only event that brings together leading minds and innovators at the intersection of AI and industry. It offers a unique platform for finalists to present their solutions to an audience of leading AI decision-makers and industry leaders.
Eligible applicants must be startups owned and managed by founders as non-listed private companies, with at least two years in business, and must not be acquired by another entity. Startups must be founded or anchored in Europe with an office presence, and must provide AI-based offerings focused on industrial domains such as PLM, simulation, automation, maintenance and service, energy management, building management, industrial product design, industrial AI operations, and industry data management. Additionally, applicants must have already completed successful monetized projects with customers.
Each finalist will be invited to the AI with Purpose Summit with a dedicated exhibit booth, curated networking opportunities, and a live opportunity to showcase their solution to a high-level audience. Winners will receive personalized onboarding to the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace, bespoke communication activities for exposure, and exclusive opportunities to join curated ecosystem events and leading industrial fairs. Winners will also engage in exclusive spotlight workshops with Siemens industry experts and partners to co-develop use cases and assess real-world implementation potential. The three winners will be recognized with a prestigious trophy and certificate.
