Sword Startup Challenge: Serving Wealth Management (Switzerland)

Sword, a global leader in IT services, leverages its Swiss division to collaborate closely with startups, helping turn bold ideas into impactful technologies. Participants in the challenge present their technological solutions to a panel of banking and technical experts, gaining exposure to industry leaders and potential clients. The winning team receives a tailored program, expert guidance, and support to expand their client network, accelerating their growth and market impact. Beyond competing, there are multiple ways to get involved: attending start-up presentations, submitting topics to the organizing committee, joining the jury, or offering your organization as a pilot project host.

The Sword Startup Challenge is designed to support and empower high-potential Swiss start-ups that are developing IT-based innovative solutions for the wealth management sector.

Eligible startups must meet the following conditions: the company must be registered in the Commercial Register for at least one year, have clear cash flow visibility over the next 12 months, possess an IT solution that has been implemented at least once with a customer, and be active in, or have a solution applicable to, the wealth management sector.

Participation in the challenge allows organizations to engage teams in innovative initiatives, showcase breakthroughs through dedicated communication channels, and access networking and technology scouting opportunities. It also provides a chance to test cutting-edge solutions and accelerate IT transformation within wealth management.
