Deadline Date: November 15, 2025
CEAT Limited, in collaboration with the Government of India’s DPIIT, is inviting startups to participate in the “Digital Track and Trace for Tyres” challenge to develop innovative solutions for tracking tyres from production to point of sale, with the goal of boosting productivity, preventing theft, and enhancing end-to-end visibility.
CEAT, a leading tyre manufacturing company, faces challenges in tracking and locating finished tyres after production until they reach the end customer. Currently, tyres use a barcode system for tracking, but this system has limitations, and instances of theft further complicate the process. The company seeks a digitally enabled solution, such as RFID, that can be integrated directly inside the tyre to provide real-time end-to-end visibility.
The desired solution should be practical, effective, and seamlessly integrated into the tyre-making process. Participating startups will have the opportunity to present innovative solutions that address these operational challenges and improve traceability throughout the supply chain.
The winning solution will receive a grant prize of INR 1 lakh. Additionally, based on the practicality and effectiveness of the solution, CEAT may engage with the winning startup to conduct a pilot program to further test and implement the solution.
