Submissions open for President’s Tech Award (Uzbekistan)

The President’s Tech Award is a competition for the best software products in 5 main and 1 special areas. The goal of the competition is to attract the attention of young people to the field of IT technologies and inspire them to create innovative solutions and developments that can compete in the global market.

Focus Areas

• Artificial Intelligence technologies
  • Solutions for various industries based on artificial intelligence technologies
• Digital technologies in a social context
  • Projects aimed at digitizing operational processes in the fields of education, healthcare, tourism, transport and logistics, e-delivering public services, or solving existing problems in social sectors
• Technological solutions in the field of Micro-SaaS and AdTech
  • Micro-SaaS is a software development approach that uses small, independent services to build applications. Key benefits include flexibility, scalability, and simplified maintenance.
  • AdTech refers to technologies for managing and optimizing digital advertising. It includes tools for targeting, retargeting, and automating advertising campaigns to increase efficiency and ROI.
• Computer and mobile gaming software
  • Projects aimed at developing offline or online games for computers and mobile devices and gamification of processes
• Entrepreneurship and financial technology
  • Projects aimed at creating e-commerce, corporate solutions and financial technologies for business entities and economic management bodies
• Special-focus hackathon
  • A 72-hour hackathon where you need to develop a project prototype based on the tasks

Prize Information

• The total prize fund is 1,000,000 USD in 5 main directions:
  • 1st place
    • $100,000
  • 2nd place
    • $50,000
  • 3rd place
    • $30,000
  • Special route
    • $100,000 for 1st place

Eligibility Criteria

• Only citizens of Uzbekistan who are under 30 years old at the time of registration can participate in the competition.
• One team can only participate in one direction of the competition.
• Participation in only 1 selected category of the main discipline, as well as in a special discipline, is allowed.
• Since the main goal of the competition is to identify export-oriented startups and ready to enter international markets, they are looking for startups with an MVP that already has users and sales. Unfortunately, startups in the idea stage cannot pass the main competition.
