Deadline: September 15, 2025
The Chief Minister’s E-Championship Challenge is Meghalaya’s initiative to identify and support its most promising entrepreneurs ready to scale, innovate, and transform the state’s economy.
Focus areas are entrepreneurs who work on innovative and scalable business models, products, solutions, or processes that have the potential to create employment opportunities in Meghalaya. Applicants must demonstrate initial traction or revenues. Startups must not be older than six years. Previous incubation program participants are not eligible.
The Chief Minister’s E-Championship Challenge offers a nine-month incubation program through PRIME, providing mentorship, funding opportunities, business resources, and networking to help entrepreneurs grow. Selected entrepreneurs will benefit from business grants, with ₹2 Lakhs for the top 35 startups and ₹1 Lakh for the next 40, as well as recognition through certificates from the Government of Meghalaya and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park. Participants will also receive capacity building via bootcamps, workshops, and training programs, along with professional services including branding, legal, and accounting support.
The program ensures dedicated mentorship through one-on-one guidance from experienced industry professionals and provides essential startup tools to strengthen operations. Entrepreneurs will gain media visibility, funding access including grants, loans, and venture capital opportunities, as well as market linkages to connect with buyers and expand their reach. Additional support includes co-working space in Shillong, Tura, and Nongpoh (subject to availability) and networking opportunities with successful entrepreneurs for collaboration and mentorship. Pre-incubation support is also offered for remaining startups to strengthen early-stage ventures.
Interested applicants can apply online by creating an account, verifying their email, logging in, completing all required fields, and submitting the application. A registration number and email confirmation will be provided upon successful submission. For assistance or more details, applicants can contact PRIME’s offices in Shillong, Tura, Nongpoh, or Jowai.
