The World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF) invites AI startups and innovators to participate in the WAICF Awards 2026, a competition celebrating cutting-edge projects and groundbreaking solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
The focus areas of the opportunity are to determine the most innovative Artificial Intelligence projects in order to reward and highlight the most audacious for a better world, the most original, and the most innovative, with strong emphasis on the innovative nature, the positive component of the AI project, and an application project that has reached at least the first stage of deployment (Minimum Viable Product).
This year, the awards will recognize excellence across three categories: Excellence Award – Grand Jury Prize, Startup Award, and Impact Award. Winners in each category will receive a prestigious “WAICF AWARDS” trophy, benefit from online visibility and public relations support, and be granted one full pass for the 2026 World AI Cannes Festival.
The Excellence Award – Grand Jury Prize is designed to honor the most groundbreaking and audacious AI projects. The Startup Award highlights emerging AI solutions with high potential, while the Impact Award focuses on projects demonstrating significant positive effects for society or industry.
Applicants are expected to present projects that have reached a Minimum Viable Product stage, showcasing innovation and practical application. The competition provides a platform for AI developers to gain recognition, expand visibility, and connect with industry experts and global leaders.
