Entries are now open for the CEFC Young French Entrepreneurs Award to celebrate inspiring journeys, innovative projects and globally oriented entrepreneurial visions.
The award focuses on recognizing and promoting entrepreneurship among young French individuals in South Korea while highlighting innovative projects, supporting emerging talent, and strengthening French economic influence in Seoul through international market-oriented initiatives.
The CEFC Young French Entrepreneurs Award serves as a springboard for the new generation of French entrepreneurs established in South Korea by discovering, supporting, and showcasing individuals who contribute to the French economic presence in the country. Two winners are selected every two years and are designated as ambassadors of French entrepreneurship, gaining visibility and opportunities to engage with public and private institutions while representing the French entrepreneurial community.
Selected winners receive financial support, with the first-place winner awarded at least 1 million won and a runner-up receiving at least 500,000 won. In addition to the funding, winners benefit from a free mentoring program and access to high-value services such as potential mentorship by experienced professionals, free memberships, and support opportunities. They are also granted the title of Young Entrepreneur Ambassador for two years, during which their activities are promoted by the organizers and partner institutions.
Applicants must be French nationals under the age of 35 at the time of registration and must commit to residing in South Korea for at least two years from the date of application. They are required to be registered with the Register of French Nationals in South Korea and must be the primary leader of an entrepreneurial project that is already underway and linked to a legal entity established in France and/or South Korea, operating within South Korea. Candidates must not be members of the CEFC.
