The Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award is requesting applications to empower and celebrate Indian social entrepreneurs who develop innovative and sustainable solutions to tackle pressing social issues and foster inclusive growth.
The award focuses on market-based solutions that leverage strategic partnerships and business practices, tech-enabled approaches to deliver and monitor impact, demonstrated outcomes with measurable metrics, scalability potential for national or international expansion, candidates who can serve as ambassadors engaging with business and political leaders, and alignment with the World Economic Forum System Initiatives.
Recipients of the SEOY Award gain access to a three-year structured program that builds leadership capacity, strengthens organizational and business strategies through executive education and curated programming, provides global media exposure, and fosters community-based peer support and mentoring. Awardees also connect with influential partners at Forum summits and on the digital platform TopLink to scale their solutions and expand their impact.
The winner of SEOY India receives the opportunity to apply for the Hindustan Times Fellowship for the Stanford Seed Transformation Programme and participate in the World Economic Forum’s Sustainable Development Impact Summit. Throughout the program, awardees receive personalized engagement and support to ensure alignment with their short- and long-term goals, enabling them to scale their initiatives to reach millions globally.
