Entries are now open for the 8th edition of the MAPFRE Foundation Social Innovation Awards.
The MAPFRE Foundation Social Innovation Awards were launched in 2017 with the clear goal of promoting projects capable of generating a positive impact on their environment and of being replicated in other contexts, amplifying their scope.
This new call is aimed at projects developed in four major geographic regions: Brazil, the rest of Latin America, Europe and the United States.
Categories
- They all have a high potential for impact in the following key categories:
- Safe and sustainable mobility.
- The Silver Economy.
- Health improvement and digital technology (e-Health).
If you are developing an initiative that offers creative and collaborative solutions in these areas, is focused on promoting social justice, inclusion and sustainability, and has the capacity to generate a multiplier effect for social change, they invite you to present it to them
Funding Information
- The Fundación MAPFRE will shortlist 12 finalists (three per category and region), which will receive mentoring and personalized online coaching and will travel to Madrid to participate in the Grand Final. The three winners, one in each category, will be announced during the ceremony and they will receive a prize of 40,000 euros in cash to promote their project. In addition, all the participants will become part of their network of social innovators, Red Innova, which promotes knowledge exchange and expert support.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each project must submit its application in the geographical area where the project representative or promoter is located.
- At least one member of the team must work full time on the project.
- A prototype or pilot test should be available.
- The turnover of the project in 2023 must not have exceeded 300,000 euros.
