The Luxury Retail Challenge seeks high-potential startups with ready-to-market solutions focused on Future Digital & Smart Experiences to redefine luxury retail through cutting-edge digital innovation.
The focus areas include Virtual Try-On & Smart Fitting, Immersive Retail Experiences (AR/VR/MR), AI-Powered Process Optimization, and Smart Wearables & Sensor-Driven Fashion.
This strategic innovation initiative, launched by a global luxury group with a portfolio spanning jewelry, watches, fashion, and lifestyle, invites startups to submit pitches showcasing innovations that improve digital try-on, size selection, and personalization; create engaging and immersive shopping environments; enhance quality control, product design, and AI orchestration; and add intelligence to garments and accessories with sensor technology.
Applications are open until October 13, 2025, and submissions require a pitch deck in English focusing on the team, the problem addressed, solution, technology, and development. A panel of experts will evaluate projects from October 14 to 24 based on product maturity, experience with large groups or the luxury sector, deployment capability, fundraising history, innovation, alignment with luxury group values, commercial traction, team strength, scalability, and partnership potential. Up to 10 startups proceed to a clarification phase with meetings from October 27 to November 7, and winners will be announced on November 14, 2025.
The winning startups will receive cash prizes up to CHF 50,000, strategic partnership opportunities, and pathways to business growth and implementation with the global luxury leader.
