The Innovéa Challenge 2026 invites innovative professionals and startups to develop and deploy LegalTech and RegTech solutions in collaboration with the Caisse des Dépôts Group.
The focus areas of the challenge include managing risks, disputes, and litigation through data-driven compliance and automation, securing KYC and KYS processes via supplier risk assessment and predictive ESG analysis, regulatory monitoring to anticipate legal and operational impacts, legal drafting automation for complex documents, contract and contract lifecycle management, governance and legal secretariat digitalization, and collaboration, training, and expertise tools to enhance legal knowledge sharing. Following a previous edition focused on FinTech, the Innovéa Challenge returns to its founding themes of LegalTech and RegTech, reflecting the growing importance of technological innovation in legal and regulatory transformation. The challenge is designed to support startups and project leaders seeking to test, validate, and deploy solutions within a real institutional environment.
Winners of the challenge receive experimental grants of up to €80,000, along with access to the Innovéa acceleration program aimed at transforming promising concepts into operational solutions. Participants also benefit from privileged access to a network of internal and external experts within the Caisse des Dépôts Group ecosystem. Prize awards include €80,000 for first place, €60,000 for second place, €40,000 for third place, and €20,000 for fourth place, with winners gaining access to the Innovéa system and its associated support mechanisms.
The challenge is open to visionary entrepreneurs in the ideation or conceptualization phase as well as startups and innovative companies that already have a minimum viable product or existing solution. The program offers a structured framework for experimentation, validation, and deployment in the fields of legal and regulatory innovation.
