Deadline Date: May 19, 2026
The Social Impact Award program provides young people with the opportunity to turn their innovative ideas into impactful social enterprises through structured support, mentorship, and incubation.
The program focuses on supporting social entrepreneurship ideas, strengthening innovation and feasibility, building team capacity, and enabling the transformation of early-stage concepts into sustainable and impactful ventures.
Through its structured process, participants begin with the Discovery Journey, where they refine their ideas into promising concepts while developing essential entrepreneurial skills. This is followed by the incubation phase, during which selected teams receive intensive on-site support and work closely with mentors to implement their projects.
Successful applicants gain access to a wide range of support services, including guidance from international experts who assist in validating business and impact models, developing prototypes, and acquiring initial customers. Participants also have the opportunity to gain public recognition, connect with a global alumni community of over 1,000 social entrepreneurs from more than 25 countries, and compete for a Social Impact Award that includes prize money of €3,500 and a chance to attend the annual SIA Summit.
Applicants must meet specific criteria, including having all core team members between the ages of 14 and 30. The program welcomes both new ideas and early-stage projects, provided they have not received formal seed funding exceeding €6,000. Ideas submitted in previous years may be resubmitted, except for those that were finalists or winners, and applicants may also submit new ideas even if they previously participated in the program.
