The BIGG SPORTS Awards 2025 competition, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye in collaboration with TÜBİTAK, aims to recognize and reward innovative and technological entrepreneurship in sports across Türkiye through a national competition process.
Application areas for the competition include Analysis Technologies in Sports, Artificial Intelligence Applications in Sports, Development of Sports Equipment: Performance, Safety and Health Technologies in Sports, Training Technologies in Sports, Software and Applications for the Efficient Use of Sports Facilities, and Sustainability-Focused Innovations.
The BIGG SPORTS Awards 2025 aims to promote innovation and encourage technological advancements within the sports industry by recognizing creative, technically excellent, and competitive projects. The initiative focuses on technologies such as athlete injury prevention and rehabilitation, wearable and virtual reality applications in sports, big data analysis for performance tracking, and AI-supported tools for talent selection and strategy optimization.
Participants are encouraged to present solutions that enhance sports performance, safety, and efficiency. For example, projects may include innovations in domestic sports equipment production, energy-efficient facility management systems, or data-driven tools for athlete monitoring and development.
A total of five companies will be selected by the competition jury to receive the BIGG SPORTS Award Certificate along with a grant of 1,250,000 TL each, totaling 6,250,000 TL in prize money. Eligible applicants include companies located in Türkiye with ready prototypes of their sports technology products. Products that have already received a previous BIGG Sports Award are not eligible for reapplication.
