The Eco Kranti – Shubh Labh 1.0 is a national sustainability startup and innovation initiative under Bharat Startup Challenge 2026 focused on supporting green and circular economy solutions in India.
The focus areas, of this initiative include elimination of single-use plastics, sustainable materials, circular economy, waste management, eco-conscious products, rural development, climate-tech, behaviour-driven impact innovation, environmental responsibility, green innovation, sustainable development, responsible manufacturing, social and economic value creation, technology, AI, healthcare, agritech, fintech, edtech, manufacturing, consumer products, rural innovation, logistics, mobility, biotechnology, social impact, digital platforms, and next-generation product innovation.
The initiative is designed to identify, support, and scale startups, entrepreneurs, and changemakers working in sustainability and innovation-driven sectors. It follows the vision of “Green is the New Smart” and aims to transform innovative ideas into scalable and impactful environmental solutions that contribute to building a “Global Green Future Matrix.”
The initiative also provides access to a full growth and implementation ecosystem through The Art of Living Foundation and Sri Sri Rural Development Programme, including incubation and co-incubation support, workspace access, product development, marketing, sales, HR support, technical assistance, and broader ecosystem exposure at both national and international levels.
Eligibility extends to startups, entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, corporates, institutions, NGOs, social enterprises, student founders, and changemakers across India. Applications are open to ideation, prototype, early-stage, growth-stage, and scaling-stage ventures, provided they demonstrate innovation, scalability, problem-solving capability, and impact potential.
Applicants must have ownership or operational authority over their submitted ideas or ventures and should be willing to participate in the screening, mentoring, evaluation, and pitching process. Shortlisted participants must attend the Grand Pitching Finale physically and present their solutions to investors and ecosystem leaders.
