The Central University of Rajasthan invites nominations for the Women Excellence Awards 2026 to honour outstanding contributions of women in the fields of innovation, science, and social impact.
The focus of this initiative is on recognizing and honouring women who have made significant footprints and demonstrated remarkable accomplishments through the following award categories: Women Entrepreneur Award, Women Scientist Award, and Women Social Impact Award. These awards aim to acknowledge the excellence, leadership, innovation, and impact of women across diverse domains as part of the International Women’s Day 2026 celebrations.
Each award category includes INR 51,000 and a citation, recognizing and rewarding the remarkable achievements of women leaders who are driving change in their respective fields.
The Women Entrepreneur Award 2026 acknowledges women who have demonstrated excellence and innovativeness in business and contributed significantly to societal advancement. Eligible applicants must be founders or owners responsible for their company’s performance, with the enterprise being at least six months old and having an audited financial statement if the first year of operations is complete. Criteria for shortlisting include product or service innovation, risk-taking capability, strategy and business growth, smart marketing, product and service quality, environmental concern, contribution to employment generation, and societal development.
The Women Scientist Award 2026 is dedicated to women scientists affiliated with reputed institutes or organizations who have made notable contributions to scientific accomplishments. Eligible candidates must be 55 years or younger as of 31st December 2025 and have no record of censure or punishment. The award aims to celebrate women scientists creating meaningful impact and serving as inspiration for young girls.
The Women Social Impact Award 2026 celebrates women who have made unique contributions as social workers, activists, philanthropists, or change-makers. Eligible applicants must be actively working in the field of social impact, with a demonstrated record of dedication to humanitarian and community-oriented work.
All applicants must not be employees of the Central University of Rajasthan and should not have received the respective award in the last three years. Through these awards, the University seeks to inspire and empower women who lead with vision, courage, and a deep sense of responsibility toward societal progress.
