The focus areas of the opportunity are developing a foundational IoT security framework that empowers organizations to embed security-by-design into IoT product development, ensuring compliance with global standards, building trustworthy connected systems, supporting structured, scalable, and sustainable security implementation throughout the IoT lifecycle, security-by-design methodology for IoT products, modular security framework covering device, network, and cloud layers, compliance alignment with global IoT security standards and regulations, automated security assessment and validation tools, developer-friendly documentation, templates, and integration guides, and training and technical support components.
The Bosch Innovation Challenge has been introduced as IoT adoption accelerates across industries, creating the need for robust end-to-end security from design to deployment. The initiative seeks to address critical risks around connected systems by driving the development of solutions that enable secure and resilient IoT products.
The program is centered around a strong problem statement aimed at helping organizations adopt security-by-design practices while meeting global regulatory requirements. Participants are encouraged to create solutions capable of managing security across the entire IoT lifecycle in a scalable and sustainable manner.
The challenge further emphasizes building trusted and future-ready connected systems through user-friendly and implementation-ready resources such as automated assessment tools, documentation, and integration templates.
