The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards is now accepting applications to support college and university students who successfully run their own businesses while pursuing their education.
The program focuses on offering big cash prizes, business improvement services, expansive networks, and the opportunity to compete in the global finals. The competition awards $30,000 CAD for first place, $20,000 CAD for second place, and $10,000 CAD for third place, providing both financial support and recognition to outstanding student entrepreneurs.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution at the time of application and may not have taken more than one year away from their studies. Competitors must be the owner, founder, or controlling shareholder of their business, which must have been operating for at least six consecutive months prior to the competition. Applicants must have generated at least $500 US in revenue or received $1,000 US in investments, be first-time competitors with no previous participation in the GSEA Final competitions, and be between the ages of 18 and 30 at both the time of application and competition.
Interested students should carefully complete all required questions to ensure eligibility, as applications will be reviewed to confirm all criteria are met. This process ensures that participants are ready to showcase their entrepreneurial achievements and compete at a high level.
