Deadline Date: April 07, 2026
The Logitech is now accepting applications for its Future Postive Challenge to support the development of sustainable products and solutions that reduce environmental impact.
The focus areas of this challenge include Sustainable Design, Manufacturing, & Materials, Energy Efficiency & Process Optimization, and Circularity & Recycling.
Logitech seeks partners who can develop advanced solutions for sustainable, high-performance design and materials while using resource-efficient production methods to reduce reliance on virgin resources and lower the carbon footprint of both products and packaging. This includes innovations that emphasize lightweight construction, optimized materials, repairability, and durability to extend the lifespan of electronic devices, reduce waste, and maintain high performance. Logitech is particularly interested in incorporating recycled materials and alternative materials to plastics, as well as reducing carbon emissions during electronics fabrication through methods such as low-temperature soldering, PCB additive manufacturing, high-density copper plating through hole (CPTH), and substrate innovations for improved material efficiency.
Logitech is looking for energy-efficient designs, components, and processes that minimize energy consumption across a product’s lifecycle. This includes process optimization to improve energy use within industrial facilities, reduce waste, and lower operational costs, as well as leveraging Al and machine learning to enhance energy efficiency without compromising performance.
Circularity and recycling are also key priorities, focusing on efficient sorting, advanced recycling technologies, and innovative design principles to recover high-purity materials from end-of-life products and reintegrate them into manufacturing. Solutions should emphasize modularity, repairability, and durability to maximize product longevity and reduce dependence on virgin materials. Initiatives such as take-back programs and service models further support closed-loop systems, contributing to a low-carbon, sustainable future.
Registered organizations of all sizes and types are welcome to apply, including startups, SMEs, innovative companies, and institutes of higher education such as universities and research institutions. Individual participants are not eligible, and applications must be submitted by the entity being represented.
