Deadline Date: December 10, 2025
The Government of Maharashtra, in collaboration with its partners, has announced a new initiative to support and elevate women-led startups in the state.
The program seeks to identify promising enterprises that demonstrate both entrepreneurial potential and a strong commitment to growth. To participate, startups must meet a set of eligibility requirements that ensure support reaches businesses poised to scale and generate meaningful impact.
The program targets early-stage companies with demonstrated market traction, requiring annual revenue between INR 10 lakhs and INR 1 crore. To ensure equitable access, women-led startups that have previously received financial grant support from the Government of Maharashtra are not eligible for this round of funding.
Eligible applicants must be recognized by DPIIT and registered within Maharashtra. Each startup must have women founders holding more than 51 percent ownership, ensuring that leadership and decision-making remain firmly in the hands of women. In addition, applicants must have been operational for at least one year, with an MCA registration date prior to 20 November 2024, demonstrating stability and a proven track record of activity.
All eligible startups are encouraged to submit applications for consideration. Each submission will undergo a thorough assessment, and shortlisted companies will be contacted with further information. This initiative represents an important opportunity for women entrepreneurs to accelerate their growth, gain visibility and access new avenues of support within Maharashtra’s thriving startup ecosystem.
