Screen Territory offers funding of up to $5,000 per applicant to support the development of interactive games in the Northern Territory.
Eligible projects include premium and free-to-play games, live-ops development, and entertainment games designed for a mass audience. This funding is aimed at helping game developers advance their projects and contribute to the growth of the local interactive entertainment sector.
Applicants must meet Screen Territory’s general eligibility criteria and be either Northern Territory residents or companies. Both emerging and established game developers are welcome to apply. At least 50% of the development team must be based in the Northern Territory, unless an exemption is granted by Screen Territory before submitting the application.
Applicants must have at least one team member with a lead credit on a previously published interactive screen project relevant to the application. They must also demonstrate that they are the intellectual property creator and owner of the game. This ensures that projects supported by Screen Territory are original, locally driven, and capable of reaching a wider audience.
This funding provides Northern Territory game developers with essential support to develop high-quality interactive entertainment, strengthen their creative teams, and bring their game projects closer to market-ready completion.
