The Department of Science & Technology provides financial assistance and incubation support to startups and innovators working on impactful solutions in healthcare, biotech, medical devices, and related sectors.
The focus areas of this program include Maximum Grant upto Rs.10 Lakh per startup, Well Furnished office & Incubation Space, kt Meeting & Lecture Room, Workstation with proper infrastructure, Ethical & other clearance committee, Networking Opportunity (Industry, Govt. & Academia), Dedicated D&D Room, Fab Lab & shared laboratory facilities, High end & sophisticated instrumentation facility, Services like Legal, IP and etc., One to One Mentoring (Technical, Business, etc.), Branding and Collaboration, Product development Healthcare & Biotech related to Medical, Product, Natural Products and Ayurveda, Surgical Instruments and Equipment, Others with special focus on AI/MI (Robotics also), Innovation related to Community, and Medical Device and Kit.
This initiative aims to nurture innovative ideas by offering startups and individuals access to essential infrastructure and expert guidance. Through its well-equipped incubation environment, the program supports participants in developing, validating, and refining their products. The availability of meeting spaces, workstations, laboratories, and advanced instrumentation enables innovators to accelerate their progress while maintaining high technical standards.
Networking opportunities with industry leaders, government bodies, and academia further strengthen the growth potential of participating teams. The program also provides specialised mentoring in both technical and business areas to help innovators navigate challenges and build sustainable ventures.
