The International Organization for Migration (IOM) invites Ukrainian micro and small businesses to participate in the grant program designed to restore jobs, production, and support the supply of critically important goods and services.
The main goal of the grant program is to support Ukraine’s economy by restoring jobs and production, as well as meeting the population’s demand for critically important goods and services.
The program offers financial support to businesses registered in Ukraine and owned by citizens of Ukraine. Microenterprises can receive up to 7,000 euros in hryvnia equivalent at the UN exchange rate, while small businesses are eligible for grants of up to 20,000 euros in hryvnia equivalent.
Eligible applicants must have been registered for at least one year before the date of application and must show readiness to create new jobs. The grant program is geographically targeted at enterprises located in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Chernihiv city and region, and Sumy city and region.
For microenterprises, eligibility requires employing fewer than ten people and committing to create at least one new job through the grant. Small businesses must employ ten or more people and commit to creating at least three new jobs as a result of the funding.
Priority will be given to war-affected, damaged, destroyed, and displaced enterprises; enterprises led by veterans, women, and youth; enterprises that contribute to supporting vulnerable populations; and enterprises based in rural areas.
