The MeitY Startup Hub has launched the GENESIS PILOT Program offering funding support of up to ₹40 Lakhs per startup to validate and demonstrate market-ready solutions.
The focus areas include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information & Communication Technology (ICT), DeepTech, and Electronics Manufacturing.
Under the program, startups will receive product validation with large corporates, PSUs, and unicorns, along with access to labs, mentorship, and infrastructure at KLIC-LNCT and AIIC-LNCTU. The initiative offers opportunities for market traction, industry credibility, and business connects through structured pilot engagements for growth and validation. It also facilitates networking with investors, government agencies, and enterprise partners while enhancing visibility through the MeitY Startup Hub ecosystem.
Eligible startups must be DPIIT-registered with a working prototype or MVP and a viable business plan. They should have full-time founders or co-founders and possess a valid Pilot Work Order or Purchase Order from government departments, PSUs, Fortune 500 companies, or recognized unicorns. Startups from Tier II or Tier III cities are preferred.
Corporate pilot partners should have a minimum turnover of ₹75 crore in the last audited financial year and at least five years of operations. Preference will be given to government departments, PSUs, Fortune 500 companies, large corporates, and recognized unicorns.
This opportunity enables startups to scale their innovations from prototype to proof, build market credibility through verified pilot deployments, and leverage the national startup network of MeitY along with LNCT Group’s incubation ecosystem. Participants also gain access to funding, facilities, mentorship, and enterprise collaborations.
