Digital for All Challenge – Nigeria

Apply for the Digital for All Challenge, Africa’s largest digital skilling competition designed to reward self-development and encourage the acquisition and use of digital skills through competitive incentives.

It is a free digital skill-building competition and program to increase digital literacy in Nigeria and igniting interest in obtaining digital skills and certifications using online platforms.

In its second year, the challenge will run in two phases: the training phase and the competition phase. After the training phase, beneficiaries will be required to take an assessment to qualify for the competition phase. The competition phase will run in three stages: state, regional and national (grand finale).

The Challenge is back for its second year and is open to 3 categories of participants across Nigeria.

  • Young Learners
    • Ages 12-18
      • 10 million naira cash prize for the grand prize winner!
      • 7.5 million naira cash consolation prizes for first runner up.
      • 5 million cash consolation prize for second runner up.
  • Youth Category
    • Ages 19-45
    • Basic
      • 10 million naira cash prize for the grand prize winner!
      • 7.5 million naira cash consolation prizes for first runner up.
      • 5 million cash consolation prize for second runner up.
    • Intermediate
      • 15 million naira cash prize for the grand prize winner!
      • 12.5 million naira cash consolation prizes for first runner up.
      • 10 million cash consolation prize for second runner up.
  • Civil Servants
    • 10 million naira cash prize for the grand prize winner!
    • 7.5 million naira cash consolation prizes for first runner up.
    • 5 million cash consolation prize for second runner up.

How to Participate?

  • Young Learners Category
    • To participate in this category:
      • You must be between the ages of 8 – 18 years.
      • You must be a student in either primary or secondary school.
      • You must complete the training in your school and pass the basic digital literacy assessment to qualify for the competition.
      • Your school and teacher must be registered on the platform.
    • Note: Only teachers actively employed with a primary or secondary school is allowed to register on behalf of their school and students
  • Youth Category
    • To participate in this category:
      • You must be between the ages of 19 – 45 years.
      • You must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic or advanced digital skilling program.
  • Civil Servants Category
    • To participate in this category:
      • You must be a civil servant.
      • You must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic digital skilling program.
