Inderprastha Engineering College–Technology Business Incubator (IPEC–TBI), Ghaziabad, under the MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), Government of India, invites applications for the MeitY GENESIS – Matching Investment Funding Cohort, launched to empower emerging startups from Tier-II and Tier-III cities to raise matching equity funding of up to ₹50 lakhs.

The MeitY GENESIS – Matching Investment Funding Cohort is a government-supported initiative designed to empower startups located in smaller Indian cities by providing vital funding and acceleration support. Through this program, eligible startups can access a matching grant of up to ₹50 lakhs, allowing them to scale their ventures and attract investors effectively.
The program offers a structured mentorship framework and acceleration support to guide startups in refining their business models and preparing for investment readiness. Participants also gain opportunities for investor pitching and exposure to both national and global networks through MeitY, enhancing their visibility and growth potential.
To qualify, applicants must be DPIIT-recognized startups registered as Indian private limited companies with at least 51% Indian ownership. They should be based in Tier-II or Tier-III cities, have market-ready and preferably revenue-generating ventures, and must not be involved in any ongoing legal disputes.
This initiative highlights the government’s continued efforts to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem by fostering innovation and investment readiness in emerging regions, bridging the growth gap between metropolitan and non-metropolitan entrepreneurial hubs.
