Deadline: December 10, 2025
The Celo Season 1 Peach Round grant program is now open for applications, offering funding opportunities to projects that can accelerate growth and impact on the Celo network.
The Growth Pool supports mid-stage projects (Stage 2, Celo Season 1 intent) that are already delivering measurable impact on Celo and are positioned to scale. Grants are designed to accelerate products and public goods that can significantly grow daily transactions and align with Season 1’s core intents. Projects must be able to demonstrate around 10k-100k daily transactions to be initially eligible. Delivery of the project must include socializing and communicating your work. Projects should be deployed, open to the public, and open source or published. The Scale Pool funds high-impact, seed-stage or scaled projects (Stage 3) with proven traction on Celo and the capacity to significantly expand their reach and impact. These grants are intended for mature teams delivering complex, production-grade solutions that can accelerate the network toward Season 1’s core growth objectives. You must be able to demonstrate around 100k-500k daily transactions to be initially eligible. Projects must be deployed, open to the public, and open source or published. Delivery of the project must include socializing and communicating your work.
In the Growth Pool, an estimated six grants will be allocated, each with a one-size fits all disbursement of up to $25,000 cUSD. Payments will be split into 20 percent at project onset and 80 percent after delivery. The Scale Pool will allocate an estimated two grants, with a one-off payment of $50,000 cUSD to successful applicants, also split into 20 percent at onset and 80 percent after delivery.
Applicants in both pools will be required to sign a contract with Prezenti and complete KYC. For those who are unsuccessful, detailed feedback will be provided, and applications will be reviewed subjectively on an individual basis. It is also emphasized that these pools are not intended for operational expenditure for established projects, marketing expenditure, funding events management, or continuous salaries.
