Intercontinental Biennial opens Global Call for Industrial Design Projects

Deadline: September 15, 2025

The Intercontinental Biennial has announced an open international call for industrial design projects, inviting designers, companies, and independent professionals from across the globe to participate in its prestigious selection and exhibition program.

Open international call for artists. Participants include industrial design projects in its various typologies carried out in any country of the world. Projects that provide solutions to the problems of everyday life are encouraged to apply.

Companies and industrial design studios, as well as independent professionals, may participate. A minimum of one and a maximum of two projects will be presented by each participant. All projects received will enter a selection process.

The organization refuses all responsibility for the authenticity of the works submitted. Participants authorize the organization to publicly communicate the images of the works, respecting at all times the copyright, in order to maximize dissemination through different media and communication platforms deemed appropriate by the organizers.

All projects received will enter a selection process. The selected projects in the process will be certified and recognized by the Organizing Committee. These selected projects will participate in the Intercontinental Biennial exhibition, whose presentations and exhibitions include countries from America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.

The selection of the works will be the responsibility of the Organizing Committee. Any objections, whether provided for or not in the rules, will be resolved by the Biennial definitively and without appeal.

This opportunity provides a significant platform for industrial designers, offering them the chance to showcase innovation and creativity on a truly global stage. By participating, creators align themselves with an organization that celebrates groundbreaking design concepts capable of addressing real-world challenges.

Participants are required to submit their project descriptions, including details about the author, the studio, or company, along with documentation outlining the project’s country of origin, characteristics, and objectives. Images must be sent in compressed formats, and additional materials such as videos or links can be attached to provide further context. Once received, the submissions will undergo a rigorous selection process managed by the Organizing Committee.

The Biennial’s timeline highlights critical dates for participants: the submission deadline is September 15, 2025, followed by the announcement of shortlisted projects on September 20, 2025. Winners will be declared by October 15, 2025, and the grand exhibitions featuring selected projects will be held from November 28 to December 8, 2025, across multiple continents.

As an event that bridges continents, the Intercontinental Biennial aims to bring together diverse creative minds and celebrate the power of industrial design to shape the future. With its reach extending across America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, the Biennial emphasizes collaboration, cultural exchange, and global visibility.
