The FLY ASIA 2025 Awards seeks to discover and award outstanding startups from both Korea and abroad, provide opportunities to build cross-regional business networks, and support global market expansion through mutual cooperation.
FLY ASIA 2025 Awards is a startup pitching competition that brings together promising startups from across Asia to showcase their innovations on a global stage. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with investors and strategic partners for real business growth.
Aims
- The event aims to foster a mutually beneficial investment environment between Korea and other countries, while promoting collaboration within the technology-based startup ecosystem.
Awards Information
- Total Prize Pool: KRW 100 million:
- 1st Place: KRW 50 million
- 2nd Place: KRW 30 million
- 3rd Place: KRW 20 million

- Exhibition Booth space at the Global Pavilion
- Round-trip economy airfare and 3 nights of accommodation (1 person)
- Invitation to Private Networking Party
- Priority 1:1 investor matching sessions
Eligibility Criteria
- Startups established after January 1, 2019 (within 7 years of establishment)
- Startups headquartered outside of Korea
- Companies with products/services suitable for global market expansion
- Teams with at least one member capable of communicating in English and possessing an English-language IR pitch deck
- Startups recommended by Global Pavilion partners or key stakeholders in the international startup ecosystem
Ineligibility Criteria
- Startups offering products or services with antisocial characteristics, such as gambling or environmental pollution
- Startups operating in the following industries (with limited exceptions):
- Accommodation and food service businesses (excluding hotels, resort condominiums, other tourist accommodations, and corporate food service businesses with 20 or more full-time employees)
- Ballroom operation businesses
- Operation of golf courses and ski resorts
- Other gambling and betting-related businesses
- Other personal service businesses
- Startups with products or services that may infringe on the intellectual property rights (eg, patents or utility models) of others
