The External End of Project Evaluation inviting proposals to review the achievements, challenges, and impact of the project supporting LGBTIQ+ inclusive learning spaces across Asia.
The focus areas of the evaluation include assessing project outcomes, organizational learning and accountability, evidence-based assessment of achievements and challenges, intended and unintended results, project effectiveness, inclusive and gender equality education, youth engagement, LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the education sector, relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, coherence, sustainability, emerging signs of impact, lessons learned, good practices, and project limitations.
The final evaluation will assess the overall performance of the project in achieving its intended outcomes and provide insights to support future work on inclusive education and LGBTIQ+ inclusion.
The evaluation will cover the full five-year project period from October 2021 to October 2026. It will include the regional pilot conducted in the Republic of Korea in 2022, as well as project activities and implementation in Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and the Philippines.
The evaluation will assess the project’s Results Framework, including outcomes, outputs, and activities. It will review the first cohort countries, Thailand and Singapore, with attention to sustainability and continued impact, while also providing a detailed assessment of implementation and results in Japan and the Philippines.
The evaluation will take place approximately from August 2026 to January 2027 and will require around 38 working days.
The project is funded through UNESCO’s global partnership with Christian Dior Couture, valued at USD 360,000, under a dedicated pillar on inclusion in and through education, with particular attention to LGBTIQ+ individuals and communities.
