Deadline Date: August 08, 2026
The CircularEconomy4Ghana Innovation Challenge is inviting applications to support agri-tech entrepreneurs developing circular economy solutions for Ghana’s agricultural sector.
The focus areas of the challenge include innovative financing and financial access for circular agri-enterprises, digital advisory and knowledge-sharing systems for circular agriculture, waste segregation, collection and valorization systems, nutrient recovery and circular soil fertility solutions, traceability, data and supply chain efficiency for circular value chains, and inclusive circular business models for youth and women.
The challenge supports entrepreneurs in testing, scaling, and growing early-stage innovations into market-ready solutions through business mentorship, market access, product validation, and pilot testing with end-users.
The programme is designed for early-stage agri-tech innovations with a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP), ideally tested with end-users. Solutions should address real market needs, respond to local agricultural challenges, align with at least one priority area, and provide benefits to smallholder farmers and value chain actors.
Selected innovators will receive support to refine, test, and scale their agri-tech solutions through tools and guidance to develop go-to-market strategies, validate technologies, and access market opportunities.
Participants will benefit from a deep understanding of Ghana’s agriculture, a fully funded four-day immersive bootcamp in Accra, strategic connections with agribusinesses and ecosystem partners, expert guidance from CGIAR scientists and UNIDO experts, a three-month sponsored accelerator programme, and opportunities to meet investors and commercial partners.
