Economic diversity, economic growth, job creation in the Collie region, vibrant and liveable regional communities, and opportunities for transitioning workers.
The Collie Futures Small Grants Program provides funding for projects that deliver meaningful economic or community outcomes within the Collie region. Eligible applicants can apply for grants of up to $100,000 to support initiatives aligned with the program’s objectives.
To be eligible, applicants must hold an active Australian Business Number, be a legal entity capable of entering into a grant agreement with the Western Australian State Government, and have an account with an authorised Australian financial institution. Not-for-profit organisations must be incorporated.
Projects must support at least one of the program objectives and deliver benefits within the Collie region, which is defined as an area within a 50-kilometre journey-to-work zone from the Collie townsite or central business district. Joint applications are permitted if a lead applicant is nominated and all participating parties have a formal agreement in place.
State and Federal Government authorities and agencies, Government Trading Enterprises, unincorporated associations, schools, universities, hospitals, and trustees without the authority to enter into a grant agreement under their Trust Deed are not eligible to apply.
