The City of Salisbury is inviting applications for the Shopfront Improvement Grant and the Activation Grant to support businesses in enhancing the appearance of commercial spaces and delivering engaging community activations across Salisbury.
The Shopfront Improvement Grant aims to improve the street presentation and appearance of eligible shopfronts by providing uplift, visual appeal and accessibility to the city centre, encouraging spending through the revitalisation of main streets, and contributing to the overall vibrancy and continued activation of the area.
The Activation Grant supports live music or DJ performances, pop-up exhibitions, creative workshops or sessions, events, and markets that create dynamic experiences and celebrate the diverse offerings and culture of Salisbury.
Under the Shopfront Improvement Grant, eligible businesses can receive up to AUD 5,000 (including GST). Applicants are required to contribute 10% of the total approved grant amount, and funded projects must be completed within six months of approval.
