The SAATHI programme is an open call initiative designed to support innovators and startups developing impactful solutions across health, climate, livelihood, and agriculture sectors.
The focus areas of the programme include social innovation, deeptech and grassroots entrepreneurship, health innovation, climate solutions, livelihood development, agricultural innovation, product validation, prototyping support, commercialization, market expansion, and cross-sector collaboration.
SAATHI aims to drive transformative and high-impact solutions by empowering social innovators working with both deep science and grassroots ideas. The programme focuses on creating locally relevant solutions while enabling measurable benefits for communities through innovation-led development.
Selected participants receive structured support based on their stage of growth, including access to national labs and research infrastructure, product validation ecosystems, prototyping and development facilities, and scale-up support through alliance partners. The programme also facilitates engagement with implementation organizations and offers expert guidance at no cost.
Eligible applicants include individual innovators, early-stage and growth-stage startups registered in India, grassroots innovators, deeptech innovators, and social entrepreneurs working on science and technology-based solutions.
