Deadline Date: July 05, 2026
Funding Collective Progress is a new global impact grant designed to support grassroots initiatives, organisations, and changemakers working at the intersection of ocean health and climate action through accessible and low-barrier funding opportunities.
The strategic pillars of the grant include Community of Care and Climate Resilience, Plastic Life Cycle, and Maritime Ecosystem. The programme aims to strengthen partnerships and support impactful initiatives that contribute to communities, ocean conservation, and climate resilience worldwide.
The grant offers funding of up to 10,000 € for selected projects. The funding is intended to support local ocean and climate initiatives across the world and must be utilised within a period of 12 months. Applicants are expected to demonstrate clear impact measurement and reporting throughout the project duration.
The programme welcomes applications from a broad range of organisations and initiatives that are actively contributing to positive environmental and social impact. Eligible applicants include NGOs and foundations, grassroots initiatives and activists, academic and research projects, social enterprises, impact start-ups, and sustainable enterprises with proven impact projects.
The organisers emphasise their commitment to supporting people and organisations already engaged in meaningful work for communities, the ocean, and the climate. The initiative seeks to combine resources and partnerships to strengthen collective action and generate measurable impact.
However, certain applicants are not eligible for funding. Conventional businesses, individuals without a proven track record in activism, and projects considered purely greenwashing activities will not be supported under this grant programme.
