Deadline Date: June 30, 2026
The 2026 Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards is now accepting applications to support initiatives aligned with the Women’s Empowerment Principles.
The focus areas include gender equality in business practices, workplace policies, women’s empowerment initiatives, corporate sustainability reporting, human resources policies, inclusive leadership practices, and documentation of programs promoting women’s economic participation and empowerment.
The application process consists of three parts, beginning with applicant information, followed by general questions, and then category-specific questions. Applicants may apply for up to two categories using a single application.
The general questions account for 25% of the total score and consist of multiple-choice questions designed to assess alignment with the Women’s Empowerment Principles. These questions evaluate policies and practices related to gender equality and workplace empowerment.
The category-specific questions account for 75% of the total score and require detailed open-ended responses describing the specific initiative for which the applicant seeks nomination. Supporting documents must be uploaded to verify responses, and links to websites, articles, images, or videos may also be included.
Applicants are encouraged to provide supporting documentation such as HR and business policies, annual reports, sustainability reports, program-specific reports, and multimedia materials including articles, photos, and videos. While documentation is recommended, written descriptions may be submitted where supporting materials are not available, particularly for start-ups and entrepreneurs. All submitted materials will remain confidential and will be used solely for award evaluation purposes.
