Eligible companies can receive up to EUR 50,000 to support their internationalisation efforts.
To qualify, companies must be small or medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 250 employees and an annual turnover below EUR 50 million, including at the group level. The business must be registered in a Nordic country and already have commercialised products or services generating revenue. Applicants are expected to demonstrate relevant industry experience along with sufficient financial and operational capacity to carry out international expansion.
The project itself must focus on entering a new international market or implementing a commercial-scale pilot or demonstration initiative. It should have clearly defined commercial goals and show measurable positive environmental or climate impacts aligned with Nopef’s objectives. Additionally, the project should contribute to Nordic interests, such as enhancing competitiveness, supporting job creation, or facilitating knowledge and technology transfer.
For feasibility studies related to pilot or demonstration projects, the proposed solution must already be proven in other markets while offering clear value in the target country. A confirmed local partner or customer must also be identified to support the implementation of the project.
