The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has announced a call for partners for the PROPEA program for 2026, inviting legal entities in Saudi Arabia with expertise in pro-export and investment services to apply.
The focus of PROPEA projects is to support the permanent presence of Czech businesses abroad in both export and investments, while reducing the risks and challenges associated with market entry and maintenance of competitiveness.
Applications are open to legal entities with proven expertise in providing pro-export and investment services in Saudi Arabia. The selected applicant will become a PROPEA accredited expert entity and will cooperate closely with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh in delivering specialized services to Czech companies. These services will be offered at rates subsidized by the PROPEA project budget, ensuring accessible and structured support for businesses seeking to expand into the Saudi market.
The accredited entity will provide comprehensive assistance tailored to market entry and investment needs. This includes the creation of business plans for market entry or investment and the provision of legal, tax, financial, and legislative analyses to help companies navigate the regulatory environment effectively.
Support will also cover assistance with product launches, including negotiation with financial institutions, help with opening accounts and arranging financing, and guidance through company registration processes. Additionally, services will extend to obtaining licenses, certifications, product registrations, and trademarks, as well as preparing documentation for import, export, and logistics operations.
Further responsibilities include the creation and coordination of supplier and partner networks, delivery of promotional, marketing, and public relations services, and support during the start of production or start-up phase for companies in the service sector. The utilization of technical facilities may also be facilitated where required.
Through this initiative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic aims to strengthen the long-term competitiveness and sustainable presence of Czech businesses in Saudi Arabia by reducing entry barriers and supporting their operational development in the market.
