Deadline Date: March 02, 2026
The Corporate Leaders Program is a fully funded short-term accelerator designed to equip African business leaders with the training and connections needed to reach new heights.
The program focuses on custom masterclasses at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, training in leading effective systems and teams, business effectuation, relational acumen, invitation-only sessions with the World Bank, building invaluable connections to U.S. institutions and businesses, and fostering a community of forward-thinking alumni open to collaboration.
Participants in the program will attend the 2026 Corporate Council on Africa’s U.S-Africa Business Summit in July, where they will engage with government representatives and corporate leaders shaping Africa’s business future. The summit offers plenary sessions and sector-focused panels, private meetings with key decision makers, B2B and B2G networking opportunities, and pathways to financing. While participants are responsible for airfare to and from Mauritius, the program itself provides comprehensive access to high-level training and connections.
The ideal candidates for this opportunity are 15 CEOs of small- to medium-sized enterprises who are proficient in English and hold a valid visa for travel to the United States. Applicants must oversee businesses that have been in operation for at least two years, employ between 50 and 200 people, invest $15–20 million USD in bilateral trade or investment in African countries, and generate at least $1.5 million USD in annual revenue in 2025. This program is designed to provide CEOs with actionable insights, strategic frameworks, and a powerful network to expand their business impact both regionally and internationally.
