Deadline Date: March 03, 2026
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo has announced the PROPEA program for 2026, aiming to enhance the international presence of Czech companies.
The program focuses on strengthening the permanent presence of Czech firms abroad, supporting companies with both export and investment activities, reducing risks associated with entering demanding foreign markets, and enhancing the capacity of the Czech Republic to support a long-term presence of companies on international markets.
Through PROPEA, accredited expert entities operating abroad, with the support of Czech Embassies, provide comprehensive pro-export services to Czech companies that are already present in foreign markets or planning to enter them. These services include processing business plans for market entry or investment, conducting legal, tax, financial, and legislative analyses, and assisting with product launches, including support in negotiations with financial institutions, opening accounts, securing financing, and establishing companies. The program also covers securing licenses, certifications, product registrations, and trademarks, as well as documentation for import/export and logistics. Entities can support the creation and coordination of supplier and partner networks, promotional, marketing, and PR activities, start-up assistance for service sector companies, and utilization of technical facilities.
Each PROPEA project implemented in a particular territory can receive a maximum financial support of 300,000 CZK per calendar year. Those interested in executing the project in Egypt in 2026, i.e., potential providers of pro-export services for Czech companies in Egypt, can consult their ideas and submit their proposals to the Economic Department of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Egypt. The current call for proposals ends on March 3, 2026, inviting accredited entities to contribute their expertise to assist Czech companies in expanding and stabilizing their international operations.
