Deadline Date: February 13, 2026
The Measures and Support Division within the Ministry offers targeted support to Small and Medium Enterprises to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and credibility in their business operations.
The focus areas of this incentive include developing an Internationalisation Strategy, part-financing costs incurred for external services contracted to provide such a strategy, and supporting enterprises to become more efficient and competitive while gaining further credibility in their business operations.
The advisory support under this ERDF aid scheme is designed to help SMEs systematically plan their entry into international markets. By leveraging external expertise, businesses can identify new opportunities, streamline their operations, and establish a robust strategy that positions them for sustainable growth beyond domestic borders.
Eligible enterprises can receive a maximum grant of €20,000 to cover part of the expenses associated with hiring external consultants or service providers who specialize in internationalisation planning. This funding helps reduce financial barriers, enabling smaller businesses to access high-quality strategic advice that would otherwise be out of reach.
Through this initiative, SMEs are better equipped to navigate the complexities of global markets, adapt to international standards, and strengthen their market presence. The support aims to create tangible improvements in operational efficiency and competitive advantage, thereby enhancing overall business credibility and long-term viability.
