Deadline Date: March 20, 2026
The Zero Emission Grants is inviting applications to support Quebec-based initiatives that promote electric and active transportation while helping communities reduce greenhouse gas emissions and move toward more sustainable mobility solutions.
Through the support of the Trottier Family Foundation and Beneva Insurance, the Zero Emission Grants aim to provide practical financial assistance to initiatives that are ready to move from idea to implementation. The grants are intended to help cover essential development costs required to bring zero-emission mobility projects to life.
Projects must be based in the province of Quebec and serve the Quebec community, promote electric and active transportation, and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
In 2026, a total of seven grants valued at $5,000 each will be awarded. The funding can be used for a range of implementation-related expenses, including the purchase of electric bikes, space rental, administrative and logistical costs, or the hiring of external resources needed to support project delivery.
The grant opportunity is open to a broad range of applicants, including non-profit organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises, daycares or schools, as well as active and organized student and community groups. This inclusive approach is intended to encourage diverse actors to contribute to the transition toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation solutions in Quebec.
