The Vinnova is seeking applications for its preparatory projects that to support system demonstrators aimed at accelerating the transition to fossil-free, safe, equitable, and efficient road transport.
The focus areas include addressing all five system dimensions: behavior and culture, business models, regulations, policy and standardization, infrastructure both physical and digital, and technology including products, services, and processes, while preparing solutions that are technically mature and scalable within a few years.
Preparatory projects should build on previously explored societal challenges and aim to mobilize relevant actors, develop plans for implementation, secure funding, ensure utilization, and plan dissemination of results for the subsequent system demonstrator.
Projects can receive a maximum of SEK 900,000 in funding, require at least 25 percent co-financing from companies, and may run for up to 12 months.
Applications are open to all groups of actors collaborating on preparatory work, including industry solution providers, need owners, users, research organizations, and public actors.
