The Mobilise programme is a 12-month early-stage accelerator designed to help UK-based SMEs, start-ups, and spinouts become investment-ready while accelerating their journey to market.
The focus areas of the programme include zero-emission automotive technologies, Connected and Automated Mobility technologies, market-focused business development, technology validation, commercialisation strategy, investment readiness, mentoring, networking, and technical testing. Mobilise is delivered in two phases, Market Focus and Technology Validation, and combines grant funding with tailored mentoring and networking opportunities to support the development and validation of innovative technologies, products, and services. The programme provides grant funding of up to £173,500 alongside structured guidance to help participants strengthen their business strategy and commercial potential.
Participants benefit from mentoring delivered by independent business advisors and investors, covering areas such as commercial strategy, intellectual property management, investment readiness, new product development, cost engineering, supply chain development, leadership, and new venture growth. The programme also supports concept validation and testing through access to CAM Testbed UK facilities, enabling businesses to demonstrate the viability and performance of their technologies.
In addition, Mobilise encourages peer-to-peer learning through a collaborative support network of ambitious businesses and offers workshops focused on finance, strategy, intellectual property, storytelling, and product development. Through this comprehensive support framework, the programme aims to position participating companies to attract future investment and successfully enter the market.
